Selling The Dream - Pushing The Buttons - Instant Gratification

Allen Says made a recent very short newsletter post that is very true. You should read it real quick before going on with our article - and bookmark the Newsletter page. Its called  Dying for water Plans for a Well. Read It Here

Your back? Ok lets move on.

I do not have the url to this site. I wish i did but I will try & explain it to you as best I can. It was if this site had read Allens post. The header graphic showed a mansion with a huge cruise ship just behind & to the side of it. An attractive woman, not like a model but a girl next door mom type of look, stood in front of the mansion. Audio began playing using a soft pleasing female voice explaining how they became an online success and you could duplicate it.

Screen caps showing proof of income were provided along with the Polaroid style pictures of happy families standing in front of gorgeous homes, on vacations and a few shots of expensive sports cars thrown in. The typical hate your job? Imagine being your own boss money on auto pilot stuff in the copy.

You could have all this and be setup with your own website with no experience in 5 minutes! Just $67

As I clicked away the "Wait" oto came offering the program for $47 (they understood things may be tight). Clicking away from that I encountered another "Wait" that was a live operator with a chat window typing me a personal message. Christine was authorized to give the whole enchilada for $27.

Of course it was an interactive bot that I had some fun with asking it questions etc. It had a few good replies but when stumped it just said "this is not a scam but a legitimate online business opportunity & she was authorized to let it go for $27 - just click here. lol

This site targeted the "Make money online" "Easy online money" crowd and it is a big crowd. They planted the notion of improved lifestyle, easy riches and no boss in the targets mind. Most importantly no work to have your site up and running - just $67 - instant gratification. Then for the skeptical that clicked away just $47 or even the "special deal" from Christine for $27, how could you pass that up. To top it off at the bottom of the page was a link called "Secret Link" lol when you clicked on it your were rewarded for being observant with the special $27 price.

Just one caveat in the copy. The line that says "you just have to send traffic to your site" that's where 99.9% of those that buy this will fail. No doubt there is an upsell to take care of that traffic problem for them etc... or maybe hosting is not offered and since the buyer has no clue they can st them up instantly for a "reasonable" fee.

Despite the obvious fake graphics, happy families, professional voice over, opportunity seekers will buy it because they want to believe it's true and it's only $27 (at least until you get to the upsell).

If you want some solid actionable blue prints check some of Kevin Rileys $7 ebooks.

When your researching an info product remember Allens Newsletter post - it can help you succeed.

Take Care,

Tom
