page.
This
issue I decided to answer some questions I get about Niche
Portal Builder - Cash Page Builder and Adsense
A member recently emailed
me with some good questions about these two
products.
I’m by no means an expert with
these but here are my experiences along with some website,
traffic and earnings examples.
You've used cashpagebuilder and
NPB.
1. Which one is better, especially
in terms of
traffic
generation?
On my sites both programs seem
to get about the same amount of traffic. CPB gets better click
through rates for me & I am using the “out of the box”
templates for all sites.
2.
What are their differences?
The biggest difference is that
NPB runs from the desktop as an exe program where CPB is a
script that is installed on your server.
Niche Portal
Builder http://www.nicheportalbuilder.com
NPB is downloaded and installed
on your pc like any other program. You run it – put in your
sites address/keyword/adsense id/site url/site keywords/email
address and it generates web pages ready to upload to your
server. It seems you get the best results from using just one
keyword, like “dog” instead of “dog care”. A newsletter
subscribe box is built in to the generated pages along with
pages for visitors to submit an article or add a category. A
page where webmasters can purchase advertising on the site for
a monthly fee that you set is also built in. These extra
features have had no results at all on any of my
sites.
You can change the template it
uses if you know how - I gave up on trying this but I didn’t
try very hard : ) The default template is a bit plain. You can
purchase more here http://www.npbtemplates.com
- this is the only place I have seen selling
them.
NPB also offers a Reciprocal
Linking Module that finds out the email and contact
information of reciprocal link partners and allows you to mail
them reciprocal link requests. You can even export the emails
to a CSV file and use a bulk mailing software of your choice to
send out the requests. I have not used this.
NPB directory generator cost
$397 the Linking Module is $347
Cash Page Builder
http://cashpagebuilder.com
CPB is a script that is
installed on your server. You ftp the files to your server and
cmod some of the files. Then run an install script that guides
you through the installation. It is easier than you think. I
have “extreme script phobia” (ESP) lol but got this one right
the first time. After installation you login to an admin area
and create your site from your chosen keywords and
templates.
The CPB also offers some nice
extra features. You can visit the page to see them, just scroll
down to “Main Features Description” at the site http://cashpagebuilder.com/
CPB also offers about 5
different templates. They are all similar but they are nicer
than the NPB template.
3.
Any special price for cashpagebuilder?
They ask $97 for it at the site. If your a member of the
warriors forum http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/default.asp
which is free to join you can visit the WSO section
(warriors special offers) where it is offered for $67. You
can see this offer here http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=47574
If you intend to join and buy from the wso please add some
value to the site by contributing (posting) to the forum.
You first post shouldn’t be a purchase.
John Smiley is the new owner of
this script and unfortunately was displaced from his home due
to Hurricane Katrina. Looking at the activity on the wso he is
still actively offering the product. John is a great guy with
excellent customer service.

Earnings
Be careful about posting tons of
websites with 1,000’s of pages quickly. It could get you
de-listed from google. Add pages in a natural manner – slowly
over time.
Use a domain that you are not
attached to in case you get de-listed. I use .net names for
these types of sites.
Add a blog to your site. This is
my number one suggestion. I added blogs to some of my sites and
post only occasionally… The result? The blog page is either the
#1 or #2 entry to the site. Search Engines love blogs and they
help you get indexed quickly.
These sites combined earn
between $8.50 and $12.25 per day in adsense income. They are
listed two ways – highest to lowest by earnings and by traffic
for the past 7 days.

About XSite
Pro
As you can see XSite Pro does a good job for adsense
sites but it is a website editor not a directory generator.
It will help you build sites quickly and easily insert
google ads etc. IMHO it’s the best editor around for quickly
building sales pages – adsense sites – product sites and
other sites an online marketer may need.
You can also see that adsense is
no quick way to make money online but a great way to generate
some passive auto pilot income. The sites I showed you took
about a month to start generating profit and it was just a few
cents per day. They took just over 4.5 months to get to their
current level.
If you do the math you can see
that quite a bit of money can be made with generated content
sites. However I would not count on that income staying steady
or being around forever.
Building an easy to navigate
site in a popular niche filled with quality content is the way
to go. Keep updating the site add a blog even a forum and
monetize it with related product. You can add links to related
affiliate products from click bank etc. or create your own
ebooks. A site like this will stay profitable in the long
run
Here is the beginnings of a site
that could be around for the long haul.
http://weddings.askaboutthis.com
People will always be getting married :) They will also be
getting divorced I guess hmmm another niche site
ides
BTW as always I encourage you to
visit and join the Warriors Forum. A great education can be
had there and some great deals. The wedding site above was
sold by me in the wso section for $47. Only 10 were created
and sold - a good deal for a nice site. I recently purchased
a content management script to create an online
article directory. The site can be used for tons of projects
other than an article directory and it came with resell
rights and the source code! It was truly an amazing deal. It
will be for sale at this site a bit down the road at $97. It
is easily a $197 value.
Next Issue - I have
purchased a little wso for everyone and will also be running a
contest along the lines of - who can make the best product or
website from the wso using only tools available in the members
area. Let me know what you think a good prize might be. I was
leaning toward an adsense website made for you by Big Mike
(makes excellent money earning sites) uploaded and ready to go
with a free year of hosting. Maybe an apple ipod or something
eveyone may want. Send your suggestions thomasdean@comcast.net
meantime I will be figuring out the legal aspects :( to
see if I can run this informal contest and who the judges might
be. About suggestions - I need to keep the value at $200 or
below and it needs to be small if I ship it over
seas.
Take Care
Tom
ps
- I have decided to add a section in the members area to
offer similar deals that we run in the wso (warriors special
offers) section of the warriors forum to our members only. This
came about from all the emails received requesting to purchase
an item that was seen in the wso section of the warriors forum
but had sold out. These deals are limited to prevent to many
people from selling the same product or having the same adsense
websites online. This gives buyers a chance to actually make
money from the product. The [edited out] is a good example -
wouldn't you rather only have 10 of these sites online instead
of 50 or 150? If you consider purchasing a site from any source
run it through copy scape to see if there are 50 of the
same sites online. Look for the new section in the members
area soon.
